Welder

We are looking for a Welder in the Liquid Foods/Filtration department based in our Winsted, MN location. Tetra Pak Processing Equipment builds and tests key components and modules for the food industry. We prioritize safety first and constantly work on continuous improvements throughout the business in accordance with WCM-World Class Management.

 

What you will do:

As a Welder your key responsibilities will be:

  • Welding and assembly of different types of proceess equipment for the food industry
  • Weld and assemble pipes and pipe parts in acid-resistent stainless steel. TIG welding (pulsating), manual and mechanized
  • Responsible for day-to-day production in a safe and efficient manner according to planning for on-time delivery
  • Process check in according to quality requirements
  • Guiding less experience welders to increase their skills
  • Rework of the labor work sheets and submit
  • Participate in the activities of daily improvement
  • Actively participate in multi-skill training
  • Actively participate in the team’s WCM/5S activities and reach certain level according to the company’s request

 

Who you are:

We believe you have:

  • Technical School Diploma or equivalent in welding/pipe fitting
  • Previous experience TIG welding in stainless steel
  • Experience in food industry is an advantage
  • Certification in accordance with EN 287 and reading drawings 
  • Strong computer skill
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in WCM, LEAN and 5S is an advantage
