Job Summary

 

Senior Functional Engineer A (multiple openings)
 

The position is located at 801 Kingsley Street S, Winsted, MN 55395. 
25%-30% domestic travel required.
Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week, except when on an assignment at customer locations.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

What you will do


As a Senior Functional Engineer A, you will: 
 

Develop process functional specifications for projects. Lead internal tests and support factory acceptance tests with Tetra Pak customers. Participate in design reviews to ensure use of our local design standards and provide input on plant functionality. Provide guidance and advice to internal engineering team. Support the Team Leader in the ongoing improvements to the process functional specification efficiency tool. Support the Team Leader in maintaining local design standards and providing training and support to Tetra Pak Inc. Conduct training for internal automation and process engineers as well as customer personnel on delivered process systems. Execute software testing, startup, and commissioning of systems/modules. Collaborate with account managers and customers to assess customer requirements and thereby create cost effective solutions. Provide ongoing customer support and troubleshooting, as necessary. 

We believe you have


Bachelor's degree in Food, Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural, or Automation Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of experience in Food Manufacturing Industry or related.


Must have work experience with:
 

1.    Engineering project design, testing, and implementation.
2.    Writing, interpreting, and testing functional specifications at a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
3.    Commissioning equipment and systems including separators, homogenizers, high shear mixers, pasteurizers, cheese-making equipment, evaporators, and dryers. 
4.    Creating project schedules for design work, testing, and commissioning.
5.    Maintaining and improving engineering design standards.

Pay Equity


Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

 

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 
 

  • Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $111,259.00 to $136,259.00.
  • Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
