We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Expert-Cheese who will support several markets in selling Tetra Pak Cheese production modules and line solutions. You will drive operational sales plans and give proactive support for customer Management/Account Management activities in the market as delegated to help achieve the overall sales target. As a Sales Expert-Cheese you will need to have an understanding of the dairy business environment and our cheese portfolio to be a trusted speaking partner for Customers and Market Organizations.

The position is based in Winsted, MN.

You may be required to travel 35% of your time.

What you will do

As a Sales Expert-Cheese you will: 

  • Develop and execute tailored action plans in collaboration with the market, ensuring alignment with the overall Category strategy.
  • Provide customer management support and foster strong, long-term relationships with customers and Market Organizations within the Category. Work closely with market teams to agree on portfolio deployment, positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Contribute internally to enhance and maintain the value and attractiveness of our portfolio.
  • Understand market-specific requirements in the cheese business, offering application and business expertise to create line solutions that meet customer needs. Participate in pricing and positioning customer quotations.
  • Lead Opportunity Management and Sales within your designated Business Sector, taking ownership of sales budgets, margins, and coordinating inquiries and quotations.
  • Promote and present our best practice line solutions, portfolio, and key features/benefits, while staying informed on competitor offerings.  
  • Serve as the primary contact for the Market Organization, managing all sales-related activities within the Category.

We believe you have

  • University degree in Process Engineering, Food Technology, Chemical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or similar
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of working experience and knowledge of cheese:
    • Food Processing Business (Cheese/Food/Liquid) 
    • Sales Management 
  • Good knowledge of food safety & hygienic design, food industry standards, practices, and regulations.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Fluency in business English is required.
    • Strong drive for the result, an analytic mindset and can find common solutions.
    • Ability to structure your work efficiently to deliver accurate and timely results.

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 

Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $100,100.00– $128,500.00.
Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
