Job Summary




We are looking for a Quality Inspector to be part of a highly skilled and professional team that strongly contributes to the daily analysis of indicators and parameters to assure quality in the process through deviations root cause analysis, defect losses eradication within the optimal parameters and conditions. This position will perform in-process, incoming, and final quality acceptance of product.
The position is based in Winsted, Minnesota.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 
You must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do



As a Quality Control Inspector you will: 


  • Be responsible for driving inspections of critical areas and quality to the packaging material ensuring specification’s compliance.
  • Be responsible for the inspection of parts, assemblies, and components to produce processing equipment.
  • Verify incoming or on the floor product to applicable drawings, internal specifications, and/or any other purchasing or customer requirements.
  • Provide reports detailing characteristics inspected with accept/fail results recorded.
  • The Quality Inspector needs to understand and follow all safety, quality, and process standards.
  • Actively participate in DMS (Daily Management Systems) activities and process auditing.
  • Participate in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) teams’ activities to eradicate losses in the process and actively engage in QM (Quality Management) Pillar activities.
  • Collaborate with the applicable department in dispositioning defective product.
  • Be responsible of product variations evaluation and follow up for process compliance.
  • Able to effectively utilize inspection equipment and identify appropriate equipment for effective inspection.

We believe you have

 

  • Quality or Production technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related area.
  • 1-3 years in quality experience in a production/manufacturing operation.
  • Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures and World Class Manufacturing processes.
  • Basic machine maintenance skills, quality inspection and laminating machine systems handling.
  • Experience using MS Office Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Detail oriented, strong reporting.

Pay Equity




Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 



  • Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $54,300.00 USD – $78,300.00 USD
  • Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS
