Job Summary

As a Project Manager within Processing Food Solutions, Business Stream Cheese, you are responsible to manage technically complex projects within the framework of the budget, time schedule, quality and scope - contributing to the overall sales result and customer satisfaction. You will work with colleagues from Tetra Pak Processing Systems to deliver projects to our customers, collaborate intensely with our market companies and ensure customer satisfaction.
This position is based in Winsted, MN.
You can be required to travelling up to 25% of your time.

 

What you will do

As a Project Manager you will: 

  • Be responsible for project execution and providing project leadership to deliver project result.
  • Secure project deliverables according to project agreement (the contract) and act according to responsibilities set out in the project charter.
  • Developing overall project time schedule and fulfil the project milestones, deliverables and budget in time and in full.
  • Drive productivity within the project through utilization of local and global resources, reusable solutions, processes, and tools (OFCE, project governance, risk management etc.).
  • Plan, monitor, forecast and report project budgets in SAP.
  • Arrange and lead project team meetings, assess work progress and status.
  • Analyze and report project progress and cost, escalate to management team as needed.
  • Manage scope changes, develop variation order quotations and issue variation orders.
  • Control project scope, cost, schedule, risks and quality.
  • Secure project communication and documentation according to project communication plan.
  • Have intensive communication with production sites to follow up the manufacturing progress of branded processing units.
  • Arrange & Participate in FAT.
  • Coordinate installation, commissioning and performance validation work as needed.
  • Provide issue management as needed in the project.
  • Participate in pre-order activities as needed.

We believe you have

  • BSc's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical Engineering) or related equivalent experience.
  • Preferably PMP certified or must have the desire to obtain PMP.
  • 5 years of work experience in project management or equivalent work experience with similar corporate background.
  • Both technically and commercially skilled.
  • Experience within Cheese making technology, Food, Pharmaceutical industries desired.
  • Detail and result oriented, costumer focused with good understanding of complex technical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good computer literacy (Knowledge of MS Project, SAP).
  • Fluent English knowledge.
