Production Test Engineer/Multi Skill Craftsman
Tetra Pak Processing Equipment is looking for a Production Test Engineer/Multi Skill Craftsman. If you have electrical experience and want a challenging job in a fast-paced interesting environment, join our team and work directly with engineers and electrical designers on food and liquid processing equipment.
What You Will Do
- Reading various style of electrical prints, pulling, and terminating devices in both control panels and field devices, and running pneaumatic air lines to valves
- Performing electrical test and final inspection sign off
- Provide support for work requests, resolve issues with prints and/or devices, assist in testing of our machinery, and assist other areas with cutting and facing sanitary tubing
- Prepare wire cut lists, labels for wires and devices, cable ends for termination, cutting and facing of sanitary tubing, and metal finishing
- Responsible for inventory control of common components
- Perform occasional field work to modify existing industrial machinery
Who You Are
- 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or related experience (Preferred, but not limited to)
- Experience in electrical testing and final inspection
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks during a given work week and consistently deliver to a deadline
- Skilled understanding of electrical circuits and design skills (Preferred, but not limited to)
- Previous control panel construction experience (Preferred, but not limited to)
- Light fabrication and mechanical experience (Preferred, but not limited to)
- Continuous improvement experience (Preferred, but not limited to)
- Programming knowledge with Rockwell software (Preferred, but not limited to)
