Job Description

Tetra Pak Inc. is looking for a Process Welder. As a Process Welder you will engage in welding and installation of stainless-steel equipment for various customers.

Candidates can live anywhere in the U.S. as this position requires 100% travel. Home base will be our Winsted, MN location. 

What you will do

As a Process Welder your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate execution of equipment installations at customer sites
  • Inplace welding in field
  • Purge weld SS tubing
  • Orbital welding machine operations
  • Polishing to 3A standard or 32RA on tanks, valves, and equipment
  • Follow company SOP/JSA during daily work

We believe you have

  • Technical School Diploma or equivalent in welding
  • Experience in mechanical related industries a plus
  • Experience with installation of process equipment and knowledge of regulations regarding installation of such equipment
  • Tig welding, process tubing, fabrication skills
  • Drive for results, strong communication skills, good customer skills, adaptable, fast learner
  • Able to travel up to 100% of the time
