Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator, who will set up trucking for shipping out machines for our food and dairy division. You will also be responsible for the accurate maintenance of raw materials / stock and finished goods inventory and utilizes SAP to manage stocks and monitor levels.  
In this role you will be an individual contributor who will drive continuous improvement in Warehouse & Logistics of the factory through the World Class Manufacturing methodologies.
The position is based in Winsted, MN 
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States. 

What you will do

As a Logistics Coordinator you will: 

  • Resolve SAP inventory issues.
  • Monitor production flow in SAP.
  • Ensure that raw stock is issue to the production floor to build machines
  • Receive work orders from the shop floor when machines are finished 
  • Close jobs in SAP
  • Create purchase requisitions for any needed supplies in the Logistics Department.
  • Maintain information, data around performance and KPIs / KAIs.  
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, including autonomous maintenance, improvement teams and other similar activities.

Who you are

We believe you have:

  • High school Diploma as minimum. Nice to have Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • From 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or warehouse. It can be internships as well.
  • Understanding of how a logistic area works.
  • Experience working with MS Office tools (excel, power point, etc). Nice to have experience using SAP.
  • Experience driving forklift (Training and certificate will be provided by the company)
  • Skills: Analytical mindset, organized, details oriented, team player.
