The Tetra Pak Internship Program aims to develop student talent through the experience of real situations in the corporate world, offering opportunities for them to develop on a personal and professional level. The positions are based in Winsted, Minnesota.

What you will do

Quality Intern
As an Intern working in the Quality area of Tetra Pak you will support the development of work instruction and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), support teams to drive improvements, collaborate with the development of utilization of visual factory, ensure data integrity and reliability to support the Quality Inspection Department, and support employee involvement and training in Quality and Welding requirements.

Suggested majors: Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing.

Mechanical Engineering Design Intern 
You will collaborate in various projects in our Cheese equipment design Cheese Process & Systems business units, draft and detail project drawings in Inventor and/or Solidworks, apply Problem Solving Methodology to improve process and workflows, and investigate, evaluate, design, and propose specific cheese equipment performance improvements. 

Suggested majors/courses: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Dairy Manufacturing Engineering, and/or CAD (Computer Automated Design).

Continuous improvement Intern
You will be part of the WCM (World Class Manufacturing/Management) team and you will be working with Continuous Improvement Projects to decrease losses in production and boost efficiency. This includes working on securing process control, standardizing processes and formulating their SOPs.
As a Continuous Improvement Intern you will:
•    Support the site's WCM Manager in with Pillar deployments and loss intelligence. 
•    Creating SOPs and other documentation to support continuous improvement standards. 
•    Studying production processes and proposing new concepts for improvement
•    Performing Time and Motion Study of Products and working on their lead time reduction/ standardization of hours.
Suggested majors: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related areas.
