Job Summary



We are looking motivated individuals to join our Winsted Process Engineering team!
These roles are part of our Future Talent Program Technical Track and is an 18 months program that will develop your engineering skills in an accelerated process to become a leading technical expert in different areas. Our company is committed to investing in developing capabilities, ensuring we have the people, processes and tools that are critical to achieving our strategy.
From day one you will be delivering results as a true team member following a development plan that is specifically designed for you and your position for you to grow into your future position. The plan will include a combination of project-rotations and work in your own department as well as formal training and mentorship. Work and meet with colleagues from all over the world and develop a network of future processing engineers. This program will give you broad insight to the company, our culture and values. After the program ends you will have gained great experiences to help continue your exciting career within our company.
This position will be based in Winsted, MN
You would be required to travel up to 35% of your time.
The program will begin either in February 2026 or July 2026, depending on your graduation date.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 
You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. 

What you will do



As a Future Talent – Process Engineer you will: 


  • Support projects from conceptual development phase (sales) through implementation to start of commercial operation.
  • Work in a multi-project environment where the role adapts to the needs of each individual project.
  • Work with customers and colleagues in an international environment. Collaborate with resources throughout the entire organization.
  • Develop understanding of what is required for project engineering commercial food processing production facilities. Including the use of problem solving, thermodynamics, flow dynamics, mass balance, process timing schedule, block flow diagrams, P&IDs, layouts, and utility consumption estimates.
  • Develop technical and "soft" problem solving skills.
  • Develop knowledge on regulatory compliance in the dairy industry including USDA, 3A, and the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Science Engineering or Bioproducts Engineering
  • Proficient with MSOffice (MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Process Design knowledge
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent people, communication, presentation skills
  • Ability to plan, delegate, and multi-task
  • Quality-focused

Pay Equity



Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 

 

  • Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $58,700 – 78,000 USD
  • Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS
