This position will be based in Winsted, MN.

 

You would be required to travel up to 25% of your time.

 

The start date for Future Talent Program will be the July 14, 2025.

What you will do

 

This position is in Winsted, Minnesota in our Business Stream Cheese. You will plan, design, implement and provide tailored Processing Solutions for Cheese equipment such as: Block formers, Cheese Belts, Vats, and others. The role requires many interfaces with internal stakeholders in the daily project work. Disciplines to cooperate with are Automation-, Electrical-, Utility engineers and project management. Together we will ensure our customers maintain total control of plant operations, alongside the benefits it brings: enhanced and guaranteed performance, consistent product quality, uncompromising food safety and reduced environmental impact.

 

As a Future Talent – Junior Process Engineer, you will: 

 

  • Perform engineering design, calculations, simulation and equipment specifications of cheese systems/modules
  • Design piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
  • Construct functional descriptions
  • Execute start-ups and commissioning of cheese systems/modules
  • Create project documentation including test specifications
  • Work with colleagues in an international environment
  • Participate in quality activities, E.g. Food safety and Equipment safety risk assessments, Design reviews, etc.
  • Supporting projects from a conceptual development phase (sales) through implementation to start of commercial operation.

We believe you have

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with focus in Fluid Mechanics or other relevant engineering degrees
  • A strong interest in thermodynamics, mass transfer, heat and momentum transfer and chemical reactions
  • Interest in being involved in design, calculations, simulations and equipment specifications and sizing equipment
  • Passion for excellence
  • Customer centricity
  • Interest in taking your career to the next level
  • Finished or will finish your studies between May 2023 and July 2025
  • Ideally hands on experience with a CAD software
