Job Summary

The Tetra Laval Group consists of three industry groups, Tetra Pak, Sidel and DeLaval, all focused on technologies and services for efficient and sustainable production, processing, packaging and distribution of food. Tetra Laval International is now looking for an Internal Auditor who will work closely with the business to raise the level of controls and improve business performance and contribute to providing assurance to the Audit Committee regarding risk and overall corporate governance.

Scope of the role

Deliver audits of individual organisations, projects, processes and issues that are critical to the overall Group objectives. Develop and recommend operational and process improvements in critical areas of the business.
This is a permanent position based in based in UK - Windsor - and will involve global travel (30%-40%). You will report to the UK Audit Manager.

 

What you will do

  • Support the audit team to deliver audits of organisations, projects, processes and issues that are critical to the overall Group's objectives on a global basis through planning, preliminary work, fieldwork and report for each assignment in an efficient manner
  • Support the execution of the audit strategy by contributing to the audit improvement programme on individual assignments
  • Deliver detailed analyses through your field work within the business areas and make accurate recommendations, interacting with senior management
  • Assist the Audit Manager in their assignments to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall audit department and deliver the internal audit strategy
  • Participate in the development and improvement of audit processes and tools that have significant impact on overall long-term performance and to participate in the development and improvement of audit approach and methodology ensuring that it is risk-based and leveraging on new emerging analytic tools (eg. Data analytics, Al)
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify audit risks and recommend effective solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational learning and drive process optimization
  • Pursue continuous professional development and certification opportunities to advance within the audit function
  • Stay updated with the latest audit tools and techniques, fostering a tech-savvy approach to auditing

We believe you have

  • 3-5 years’ experience gained in internal audit, business or financial control in an international corporate environment
  • Big 4 experience
  • University degree – Non business degree highly desirable
  • Accounting or auditing and relevant professional education and certification (e.g. ACCA, CA)
  • Experience of internal controls in SAP environment – highly desirable
  • Experience working with data analytics

As a person we believe that you have excellent analytical and strong listening and communication skills and ability to distill technical concepts into clear language for all stakeholders, including the Audit Committee. You demonstrate an independent mindset with the ability to convince and challenge the status quo constructively. You have the ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels, demonstrating empathy and clear communication.
Furthermore you are self-motivated with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Flexible in all nature especially towards extensive travel abroad. When it comes to language, we expect you to be fluent in English both written and spoken and any other languages is considered a plus.
