We are looking for a Technical Project Leader to join our team in CED Europe Project Center.
As the Project Leader, you will maintain a high-level overview of the technical scope and ensure seamless coordination among process engineering, automation, mechanical and electrical utilities, business streams, and external suppliers throughout both the sales and implementation phases. You also lead technical discussions directly with the end customer.
This position can be based anywhere in Europe, where Tetra Pak has an affiliate. Relocation is not considered.
The position will require 40% international travel (Europe), depending on location and phase of the projects.
What you will do
As a Technical Project Leader you will work in CED Europe Project Center, which is an organization delivering Cheese, Evaporator and Dryers projects around Europe. You will work in a dynamic project environment delivering large (>20MEur) and complex commercial projects to customers with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the technical scope of a project is delivered according to the contract with regards to the technical content, quality, and time.
- Drive and follow up on coordination of engineering activities between various engineering teams within the project.
- Act as technical contact person towards customer and main suppliers.
- Ensure that equipment and installation design is according to relevant local rules and regulations, such as quality, safety-related and hygienic requirements.
- Lead the preparation work of the Technical File.
- Coordinate exchange of technical information between customer and Tetra Pak.
- Coordinate commissioning, ensuring communication with customers and managing budget and resources.
- Support in pre-project activities.
We believe you have
- Technical engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical, Process or Food Engineering areas.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the food industry.
- Working experience in a managerial and/or customer-facing role.
- Good knowledge of Tetra Pak Food Processing Equipment.
- A structured, proactive, and well-organized approach to project tasks.
- Experience in cheese and dryer projects is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- PMP certification or similar is a plus.
- Located already in Europe.

You possess excellent collaboration and communications skills and are able to drive activities and successfully collaborate with others to reach targets.
