Automation Service Engineer C


We are looking for an Automation Service Engineer C who can act as primary site based customer contact. Perform the execution of planned and corrective maintenance, as well as installation activities. Troubleshooting of control systems and take the part in commissioning activities. As a Service Engineer, you will be part of a team, but most of your time will be spent working at and with our customers. To be successful in this position you should enjoy working independently, remotely, and travelling.

You will be based in Poland, Warszawa.

You will be travelling 70-80% of your time to our customer sites.

What you will do:

As Service Engineer C, you will:

  • Install, commission, and maintain our Processing equipment at our customers’ sites.
  • Delivery of planned maintenance events according to the TPMS recommendations. Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all relevant technical documentation.
  • PLC troubleshooting on customer sites.
  • Promptly report and manage all discovered Technical Issues according to the QTIM process and, when needed, escalate to next appropriate level in a timely manner. 
  • Communicate with relevant functions and levels within the customer's organisation. Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, to ensure good working relationships with the customer and that TP’s reputation is sustained.
  • Conduct relevant customer training.
  • Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of existing services and solutions and keep updated on the direction of customers account plan. Actively seek business opportunities to be shared with the organization and support service sales.
  • Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements and promote a safe working culture in the team.
  • Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety.
  • Understand the importance of product safety and quality.
Who you are:

We believe you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, automation, process or mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in similar duties with good hands-on skills. The food manufacturing industry, installations and/or service work, customer management, technical and commercial customer discussions/negotiations.
  • Skills in Automation and PLC Siemens S7 and/or Siemens TIA Portal knowledge.
  • Hands-on skills in mechanical maintenance and/or service work.
  • English and Polish language knowledge in written and verbally.
  • MS Office knowledge.
  • Genuine interest in techniques and customer service with a focus on quality.
  • Willingness to travel. About 70-80% of working time is required on customer sites.
  • Writing/reporting skills.
  • Dynamic, perseverant growth and development-oriented personality.
  • Results-oriented, team player, accountable.
  • Ability to work independently and to handle/drive changes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Driving license B.
  • Basic mechanical skills considered a plus.
