Job Summary
Take your communications career to the next level at Tetra Pak!
We’re looking for a Communications Manager to lead communications in our East Europe market and strengthen Tetra Pak’s brand and reputation across the region. In this role, you’ll collaborate with colleagues from communications, sales, marketing, and other teams to develop and implement communication strategies tailored to the East Europe countries. You’ll report to the Communications Director Mid & East Europe, and your base will be in Warsaw, Poland.
We’re seeking an all-around communications professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to execution. This is a varied role where you’ll engage with a range of communication disciplines and audiences, including Tetra Pak employees, key opinion leaders in the food and beverage industry, customers, and consumers.
This is a permanent position based in Warsaw, Poland and it requires to travel approximately 15% of working time.
What you will do
Develop a comprehensive communications plan:
- Work closely with the Communications Director and the market leadership team to create a communications strategy that supports Tetra Pak East Europe’s business priorities
Bring the plan to life with a variety of activities:
- Public Relations: Manage media relations, crisis communications, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Plan and execute press events, lead thought leadership efforts, coordinate with industry associations, and drive the Managing Director’s external presence
- Brand Communications: Maintain the company’s official channels, oversee our online and social media presence, coordinate the creation of branded content, and organize events, speaking opportunities and sponsorships
- Internal Communications: Define & implement employee engagement activities that provide clarity on strategy contributions and effectively translate external communications activities to inspire. You’ll also support the Managing Director’s engagement with employees and help other teams communicate effectively with internal audiences
- Product Communications: Support our Marketing Communication experts to drive growth through planning and delivering product and category campaigns with a strong focus on digital tactics
Lead agency collaboration:
- Manage a network of agencies to create materials and execute plans aligned with the communications strategy
Collaborate with global colleagues:
- Coordinate with communications professionals across Tetra Pak to ensure effective implementation of global and local activities
We believe you have
- BA/MBA/MA or equivalent in Communications or related sciences
- Polish native with fluent English language skills; knowledge of Hungarian or Serbian language would be a plus
- 7–10 years of experience in communications, with a strong understanding of current trends, frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Proven success working in multinational settings, using a mix of traditional and innovative communication tactics
- Digitally savvy with a proven ability to innovate in communication tactics, especially using digital channels
- Excellent at crafting clear, engaging messages, with strong writing, public speaking, and presentation skills
- Experience in MD profiling, with the ability to tailor communication strategies to effectively engage and influence key decision-makers
- Skilled in event management, with experience planning and executing impactful events
- We are looking to fill this position with someone who has strong communication skills, a hands-on attitude and the ability to put ideas and plans into concrete action. You are result-driven and pro-active; able to establish clear expectations, objectives and priorities, setting ambitious but achievable goals and track progress. A strong team player with an ability to work in diverse teams and across cultures and to mobilize others to contribute to projects.
