Commissioning Leader

We are looking for a new Commissioning Leader to enhance our team. 

 

You will be based in Warsaw, Poland with the frequent travelling of approximately 80%-90% of time.

What will you do

As a Commissioning Leader you will be responsible for:

 

  • Plan and organize commissioning activities within project. Lead commissioning engineers and customer operators in commissioning phase
  • Communicate accurate project status to project management enabling pro-actively planning
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions and breakdowns during project phase. Participate in root cause analysis of problems to ensure permanent resolution
  • Ensures that testing and commissioning procedures are executed in a standardized method and results are documented in a consistent format
  • Handle technical discussions with customers and suppliers
  • Supports project management in commercial discussions
  • Supports sales team with cost calculations and project plans
  • Prepare of equipment for operation in accordance with the design documentation
  • Participation in FAT & SAT tests
  • Creates and delivers suggestions for Change Order to the project management
  • Initiate claims handling towards internal and sub suppliers engaged in the project
  • Give internal and customer training/presentations/workshops
  • Coach and give appropriate feedback to the engineers in the project team
  • Drive Health & Safety activities at site
  • Understand and address all appropriate food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak

Who you are:

We believe you have:

 

  • Bachelor's or Technical Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commissioning of plants and devices in food processing industry or similar areas
  • Proven team leadership experience 
  • Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
  • Understand engineering design (documents and drawings) and able to challenge design from a commissioning perspective
  • Has good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and software design.
  • Experience of working within a multi–skilled environment (i.e. knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components including motors, servos, vision systems)
  • Knowledge and experience of configuration & program modification of PLC & HMI automation equipment (eg. Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens S5, S7, TIA Portal, etc) is a plus
  • Good language & communication skills (English) in both verbal and written formats
  • Frequent travel required (dependent upon project cycles)
