Warehouse Operator

Description

The Warehouse Operator position has a key role within Tetra Pak’s Supply Chain Operation, responsible for the receipt and storage of spare parts, as well as the fulfilment, checking, and packaging of sales orders. As a Warehouse Operator, you will execute daily and weekly workload plans to accomplish established tasks provided by Warehouse Supervisor.
Ideal candidate will be high energy, self-motivated, with previous warehouse experience at Tetra Pak.
 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Pick and pack daily orders using various methods to include reach truck and stand-up forklift 
•    Ensure accuracy of each order by checking that the correct part and quantity have been picked before packing
•    Pack orders to ensure the quality and quantity are safe for transportation to customers
•    Operate forklifts (stand-up and reach truck) to pick heavy items and transport them safely to the dock area
•    Process orders using SAP software, FedEx Ship Manager and DHL
•    Ensure quality control
•    Cycle count parts daily in lifts and racks (time permitting)
•    Support the shipping and receiving area when needed
•    Follow 5S guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
•    Restock packaging materials
•    On Call support required as needed
 

Qualifications

Main Purpose of the Job

Operate the forklift, ensure and maintain good conditions of equipments and assets, unload, put away, picking and load goods according procedures established in order to provide safety properly, quality following manufacturing best practices and logistics global procedures.

3. Ensure Inventory Accuracy

4. Accomplish Regulations and Procedures regarding Certifications as BRC, FDA, SGI, FSC, OEA,ISO

Critical Experience

Requires limited job knowledge of operational systems and procedures. Can follow basic Tetra Pak work routines and standards Experience at minimum one year in related function Forklifit Driver Lisence Knowledge on Local Legislation for safety in operations

Minimum Education

High school or equivalent preferred
