Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Supplier Manager. In this position, You will work on the category strategy for the market. You will also prepare negotiations using thorough quotation analysis, technically and commercially, supported by technical teams.
You can be based in Vernon Hills, IL or Winsted Minnesota at our Tetra Pak office.
You will be travelling up to 25 % of your time to our suppliers' sites.
What you will do
As a Project Supplier Manager, you will:
- Drive negotiation and contracting, considering Global & local contracts, bank guarantees, own specifications and customer specifications in correct order of importance.
- Create and drive the procurement plan, defining strategies with project team.
- Ensure supplier contract legal compliance with support from legal department.
- Relationship management; ensure good relations with stakeholders, both externally and internally.
- Drive supplier development (sourcing), together with category and supplier quality engineers.
- Support Strategic Supply Management for maintaining and improving the supplier base in relation to quality, production capacity and cost reduction.
- Procurement of Equipment, parts, components and services for Projects.
- Ensure purchasing deliverables meet project and services organizations objectives in time, cost, and quality while maintaining a good relationship with the project team.
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business administration or related numerical field.
- Minimum 10+ years of solid experience as a buyer, working with purchasing processes, vendors management.
- Experience within procurement project management.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems e.g., SAP
- Have strong negotiation skills on large contract values, with complexity.
- You perform well under pressure and stress.
- You are dynamic and flexible with a pro-active approach and a high sense of responsibility towards each task.
- Have a positive attitude and a” high performance” position on your tasks and responsibilities.
- You are a team player, cooperative and open-minded.
- You are open to change and work with deadlines by keeping a high quality of work.
Pay Equity
Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.
Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $100,100.00 – $142,800.00.
Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
