Job Summary

 

Parts Support Analyst

 

The Parts Support Analyst plays a pivotal role within our Spare Parts team, collaborating closely with customers and vendors to provide exceptional service. This position is instrumental in achieving our service sales growth objectives through sales and customer support. Reporting to the Parts Support Team Lead, the Parts Support Analyst will contribute to maintaining our reputation for quality service and innovative solutions.

 

The position is based in Vernon Hills,  IL or Rockford, IL.

 

Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require international relocation to the United States.

What you will do

 

  • Contact vendors to obtain quotes and conduct parts research.
  • Collaborate with the replenishment team to ensure up-to-date materials information.
  • Provide top-tier customer service via phone, email, and other communication channels to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Execute various transactional activities related to order management, including creating purchase requests/orders, sales orders, and quotes.
  • Offer supply chain expertise to support new product sourcing and purchasing.
  • Perform shipping and receiving transactions and create recommended spare parts lists.
  • Collaborate with the Master Data team to set up part materials and handle rentals and repairs.
  • Conduct parts research in technical manuals for customer inquiries.
  • Participate in customer relationships from an operational perspective, facilitating transactional sales through effective communication.
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration with vendors on price quotes and new materials.
  • Take responsibility for customer inquiries, ensuring they are addressed and channeled within the organization, including technical issues.
  • Maintain customer-related master data accuracy to drive transactional sales and service business.
  • Source local materials as needed.

We believe you have

 

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; associate degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Customer Service or Purchasing and Parts Support role.
  • Experience in providing world-class customer service is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); SAP/R3 experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of planning and logistics.

Pay Equity

 

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 

 

Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $58,700.00 – $75,300.00

 

Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS
