Electrical Project Leader (multiple openings)

 


Position is located at 600 Bunker Court, Vernon Hills, IL 60061.
35% Domestic and 15% international travel required. 
Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

What you will do

 

As an Electrical Project Leader, you will:

 

 

Provide electrical support for customers and internally, including pre-project phases. Lead electrical technical discussions with customers and end suppliers for L0-L3+ projects. Validate and review technical solutions for L0-L3+ projects. Mentor and train others to properly complete L0-L3 projects. Actively participate in issue and claim resolution including root cause analysis related to L0-L3+ projects. Provide feedback between counterparties and other L0- L3+ projects. 

We believe you have

 

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of experience in automation and electrical systems in processing. Alternatively, will accept Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of experience in automation and electrical systems in processing.

 

Must also have work experience in:

 

1.    Providing electrical engineering support for internal and external customers, using tools including EPlan and AutoCad, and standards including NFPA 70, 79, UL 508A, and 698A;
2.    Conducting electrical technical design within Food and Beverage projects and defining aspects such as Control Panels specifications, Motor Control Center, electrical installation guidelines, cables, and trays specifications;
3.    Defining standards and guidelines within an engineering project department;
4.    Conducting technical discussions with customers and end suppliers;
5.    Validating and reviewing electrical technical solutions;
6.    Training others in electrical engineering; and
7.    Power factor calculations, cable specifications, and circuits protections.

Pay Equity


Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 
 
•    Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $138,362.00 – $148,000.00 per year
•    Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
