Maintenance and Projects Manager

 

In this position, you will lead the maintenance strategy for the factory and coordinate investment plans through the application of TPM/WCM (Total Productive Maintenance/World Class Manufacturing) methodology and concepts.  You will deploy equipment reliability improvement activities and integration of technological solutions through an experienced group of engineers and technicians.  This position reports to the Factory Director.
The position is based in Vancouver, WA.

What you will do


As a Maintenance and Projects Manager, you will:

 

  • Drive the implementation of a maintenance strategy to extend the useful life, reliability and availability of production, auxiliary equipment and automated systems at optimal cost.
  • Analyse loss deployment data related to equipment availability/reliability to prioritize and improve Preventive, Time Based and Condition Based Maintenance plans accordingly.
  • Drive the evolution of the Preventive Maintenance Pillar, Early Management Pillar and maintenance organization following the Continuous Improvement Program in the factory.
  • Lead and coach improvement teams related to troubleshooting and eradication of machine breakdowns.
  • Assign and coordinate factory projects, monitoring execution based on an investment budget and time plan.

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing and coaching teams.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance manager, or background in Mechanical / Electrical maintenance.
  • Proven experience with coordinating, developing and following up on preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Demonstrated application of methodology for continuous improvement.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Advanced level of English language both written and verbal. 

 

Pay Equity

 

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 

 

  • Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $105,000 and 135,000  
  • Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS
