Job Summary

Tetra Pak is seeking candidates to reinforce his automation team. This selection constitutes a great opportunity to develop your career in Processing Solutions on develop and management of projects to improve efficiency and quality performance in equipment’s and installations. Currently we are looking for an Automation Engineer.

Main responsibility is to defining automation solutions, based on PLC, Scada, Industrial Networks, in virtual environments and with a high level of integration and information Exchange with Data Bases. You will be responsible for a part of an automation project in technical aspects, decided by the Automation Team Leader.

The position is based in Utrecht, the Netherlands and requires 40% of travel for meeting & commissioning.

What you will do

  • Design and review all the technical documentation, as per, automation architecture, IP lists, electrical diagrams, instrumentation, operator manual, and execute software of PLC/HMI/SCADA control systems (Siemens PLC & Aveva HMI)
  • Report to the Project Manager for project related tasks including budget control, progress reports & forecasting
  • Make programming and specifications in time, with correct quality and at specified cost
  • Project quality assurance by using of proper FAT tests and validation tests protocol
  • Testing and commissioning of hardware and software at customer site, (inter) national, for a short or long period of time
  • Build and maintain a good customer relation and work proactively with quick analysis, decisions and actions

We believe you have

  • Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
  • Fluent in English and French in both verbal and in writing, dutch language skilled will be valued
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in PLC, SCADAs programming and commissioning for processing plants, skills in one or some of the following systems: Siemens (S7, TIA Portal), Aveva (Intouch, System Platform), Ignition
  • Good knowledge in MES System, Virtualization VMWare, Industrial Network integration, are highly appreciated
  • Skills to lead a project or a part of a project
  • Proactivity, commitment to troubleshooting system problems
