Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer that will focus on designing and implementing process solutions for small to large projects. He/she will Manage the process design within the framework of the budget, time schedule, quality and scope, contributing to the overall sales result and customer satisfaction. Take technical decisions and are responsible for technical solutions. Can act as Design Owner/ System Platform Owner/ Tool Specialist. Work independently in project and/or pre-project teams within Project Centers (L0-L3 projects). Can develop lead L0 and Process part in L1, L2 and L3 projects. This is an opportunity to interface with our extensive customer base and provide industry-leading processing solutions.

The position is based in Tunis, Tunisia.

What you will do

As a Senior Process Engineer you will:

  • Provide technical support to implementation projects and preprojects with respect to Process Engineering, responsible for technical solutions, excellent process design specification and drawings for projects, complex and customized BPU´s, lines and solutions
  • Pro-actively lead and communicate with other colleagues and/or have technical discussions with customers / suppliers
  • Manage scope changes and negotiate variation orders
  • Lead and provide excellent support to customers and colleagues, issue and claim resolution (including root cause analysis), PLC/PC, etc.
  • Breakdown and plan the project into phases and fulfill the plan and project milestones in time, in full and according to budget.
  • Drive use and content creation of reusable solutions and processes to secure productivity
  •  Validate/ review technical solutions
  • Develop and improve processes, templates and tools
  •  Enable competitive differentiation
  • Act as a mentor / trainer for others within and outside Tetra Pak
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak.

We believe you have

  • Several years as Senior Engineer (or similar) to develop expertise on Projects /Products knowledge
  • Demonstrate expertly technical skills, excellent knowledge in installation needs and customer operations at site.
  • Demonstrate very good knowledge of Process technology
  • Excellent knowledge and be part of developing necessary standards, guidelines, tools and methods for Process design.
  • Excellent understanding of product portfolio and its functionality
