Job Summary

We are now looking for an Automation Engineer focusing on automation solutions for cheese lines who can design and deliver solutions to customers all over the world together with our Business Unit and Market companies. As an Automation Engineer you need PLC and HMI programming competences and you will work with designing, configuring and testing complete automation solutions adapted to different customer needs. You have knowledge and understanding of the complete automation functionality. 

 

This position is based in Tomaszkowo, Poland and requires travelling of up to 30 - 50 % yearly. 

 

What you will do

  • Design, develop and test the software of PLC/HMI/SCADA control systems for cheese equipment.
  • Test and configure control panels, motor control centres, Ethernet networks, ASI/IO-link networks and pneumatic circuits for automation systems. 
  • Make programming and specifications in time, with correct quality and at specified cost. 
  • Report to the Project Manager for project & program related tasks including budget control, progress reports & forecasting. 
  • Manage automation activities on site for commissioning and performance testing phases. 
  • Provide training & instructions to internal employees and end users. 
  • Troubleshooting and technical issue resolution. 

We believe you have

  • University degree in Automation Engineering or equivalent.  
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in an international environment in similar Food/Process Industry.  
  • Fluent in Polish in both verbal and in writing, English language required at communicative level
  • Good knowledge in PLC (Siemens S7/ TIA or Rockwell CLX), SCADAs (Aveva) programming and commissioning. 
  • Knowledge and experience in working with electrical documentation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of equipment and processes within the food/dairy industry, preferably in cheese industry.
  • Driving license category B.
