Job Summary

Independently leads a scope of environment activities in the market company such as Recycling, FSC deployment etc.


You will be based in Tokyo, Japan.

What you will do

  • Drive carton package collection & recycling in Japan
  • Drive the expansion of collection network and develop collection modules
  • Lead environment projects related to local market
  • Deliver necessary figures for env reporting
  • Support market company organisation with relevant information on specific area within
  • Collect and share good practices within the cluster and with other clusters
  • (if relevant) Derive FSC deployment in the market company

We believe you have

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in environment or relevant sciences
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in Recycling industry, Carton/Package recycling is preferred
  • Proven performance (Env KPIs) and delivery in environment related projects Deep understanding of relevant environment topics
  • Fluency in Japanese is a must, English is good to have
  • Basic understanding of customer environment agenda (value element)
  • Basic portfolio knowledge
  • Ability to drive with Business Development mind-set
  • Strong collaboration skills and consistent information behaviour
  • Open approach – ability to view problems / issues from multiple market requirements/ stakeholder perspective
