We are looking for a Process Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing process solutions for small to large projects as part of the pre-projects and projects team. What you will do

 


As our Process Engineer, you will:

 

  • Technical Sales Support: Provide technical support to our sales organization during the pre-sale stage and support Technical Sales and Commercial Project Teams, including issue resolution in cooperation with field service engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Project Support: Support projects from a conceptual development phase (sales) through implementation to the start of commercial operation.
  • Process Design and Engineering: Be an expert in process design for customer orders throughout the order process. Perform calculations for piping, vacuum pumps, blowers, valves, and hoppers used in the food industry, and select instruments. Lead and handle the design specification and dimensioning of process equipment and solutions.
  • Customer Interaction: Lead and participate in technical discussions with customers.
  • Standards Compliance: Make technical solutions in line with Tetra Pak Strategy, standards, guidelines, tools, and methods for process design.
  • Solution Validation: Validate and review technical solutions for engineering parts.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide support in issue resolution in projects.

We believe you have

​​​​​​​

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Food Science Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields with a focus on process design and project implementation.
  • Experience in commissioning, maintenance, or new plant start-ups is a plus.
  • Proven process engineering design experience, ideally within the dairy, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge in dairy, carbonated beverage, and powder handling process design is a plus.
  • Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills, with the ability to solve problems consistently.
  • Ability to draw, read, and understand a process and instrumentation diagram (PID).
  • Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD and drawing platforms is a must.
  • Functional engineering competence (pre-automation specs, programming, and automation basics) is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Hexagon SSP, SAP, and Microsoft Planview is a plus.
  • Japanese communication is required.
