Job Summary

Responsible for logistics activities and interfacing with Market Companies in the Cluster (mainly in Greater China, South Asia, East Asia and Oceania) and drive cost reduction, improve service levels and effective utilization of logistics resources

What you will do

Drive daily logistics operation:

  • Ensure deliveries from converting factory to destination country (e.g., from port to customer site)
  • Synchronize ETDs and ETAs over the supply chain to ensure the correct delivery date to customer
  • Ensure safety and compliance logistics operation with internal resources and external one
  • Resolve issues that might arise with port / customs / shipping line / transportation company
  • Ensure correct and timely reporting of KPIs for all metrics concerning on time in full delivery and the logistics outbound cost
  • Support Customer Service and KAMs’ with logistics related aspects


Operational logistics optimization:

  • Drive the expansion of WCM to attack Logistics losses (both in costs and service level)
  • Work with market company and converting factory to optimize of internal and outsourced resources to maximize short and midterm capacity utilization and efficient usage of working capital, through participation in S&OP process


Tactical logistics management:

  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities for lowest possible total logistics cost and improved service level
  • Manage logistics suppliers / contracts (e.g., with transportation companies, forwarding agents, warehouses) in collaboration with Supplier Management


Governance and Relationship:

  • Prepare and lead weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings both internally as well as with the Logistics companies
  • Track and initiate the right LSP [Logistics Service Providers] portfolio balancing towards governing as well as strengthening the relationship

We believe you have

  • Possess a minimum Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English at a business level
