Future Talent Programme is a Trainee Programme within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position from start in September 2023 at our site in Stuttgart – Germany. You will onboard an individual designed development programme for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the programme you will participate in trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person. As a Trainee here with us, you will get to know our entire business and collaborate with colleagues all over the world. And this is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career!

Food Safety & Compliance Expert – Future Talent Programme
As our next Future Talent, you will develop your engineering skills and bring you leading technical knowledge in an accelerated way. You will be part of a truly global company with a dynamic, innovative mindset as well as strong roots in a technological environment. We are looking for talented and highly motivated new graduates to become the next generation of engineers and leaders in our industry. You will be based in Stuttgart (Germany) but work in a global arena.
What you will do
You will be involved in the following activities:
- Support development projects and studies to assess the safety of new packaging material developments and verify their compliance with EU, US FDA and China food contact material legislation with special focus on sustainable materials
- Build and maintain the supporting documentation and database for food contact compliance certification
- Monitor the circular economy strategies and stay current with regulatory developments for food contact materials and hazardous chemicals.
- Provide input to the impact assessment of environmental regulations on Tetra Pak´s food contact portfolio
- Be a knowledgeable speaking partner with valuable advice for all questions related to food safety and sustainable packaging materials
- Support market companies in handling customer requests regarding food safety and food contact compliance of Tetra Pak products
We believe you have
- Educational background in food chemistry or chemistry or similar scientific area of expertise, PhD preferred (we accept candidates graduated in 2022 and 2023 for the Future Talent programme)
- Excellent communication skills – fluent in English (written and verbal) and preferable in German
- Willingness to travel and work abroad
- Flexible and show superior engagement
- Problem solver attitude with strong personal drive
- Passion about applying your theoretical knowledge into actual challenges
