Job Summary

Tetra Pak Food Packaging Safety & Interaction department in Stuttgart, Germany, is responsible for the food safety and food contact compliance assessment of Tetra Pak’s global packaging and filling equipment portfolio.

 

You will be based in Stuttgart, Germany, or Lund, Sweden to strengthen our dynamic team.

 

Contract type: temporary (18 months).

What you will do

As Food Contact Regulatory Compliance Expert you will be responsible for:

  • Support compliance assessments of food contact materials supplied globally by Tetra Pak to ensure compliance with current and future requirements of European, US and Chinese food contact materials legislation.
  • Support development projects and Supply Chain activities by assessing the safety of new materials intended to come into contact with food and by verifying their compliance with EU, US and Chinese food contact materials legislation.
  • Build-up and maintain relevant supporting documentation for assessments and approvals.
  • Stay current with regulatory developments for food contact materials in EU, US and China.
  • Be a knowledgeable speaking partner for questions related to chemical safety of food contact materials in Tetra Pak filling equipment – internally and externally.

We believe you have

We believe you have:

  • Educational background in food chemistry, chemistry or similar scientific area of expertise, doctorate degree (PhD) preferred.
  • Knowledge of food contact law preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills – fluent in English (written and conversational), good in German.
  • Professional use of MS Office.
  • Superior engagement, flexible and accurate way of working, creative personality, solution-orientation, team-oriented but also individual contributing mindset with high personal drive.
