Job Summary
Be responsible for warehousing, administration, procurement and import & export operations of factory spare parts. Ensure timely, accurate and efficient supply of components required for equipment maintenance and production operations, and implement relevant tasks in line with WCM activities.
What you will do
Spare Parts Inventory Management
• Manage spare parts inbound, outbound, stocktaking and account records via SAP system.
• formulate strategies for critical spare parts and safety stock.
• analyze inventory turnover rate and slow-moving materials, and propose solutions for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
Procurement & Supplier Management
• Handle procurement procedures of spare parts and consumables including inquiry, quotation comparison, order placement and delivery lead time follow-up.
• liaise with domestic and overseas suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements on price, quality and delivery schedule.
• arrange urgent spare parts procurement and control delivery schedule risks.
Import & Export Operations
• Process relevant import and export documents such as invoices and packing lists, and complete customs declaration paperwork.
• coordinate with logistics providers, customs brokers and suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery of goods.
• be familiar with basic tariff policies and import & export regulations.
Cross-functional Support
• closely collaborate with maintenance, engineering and production teams.
• provide spare parts support for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• establish stock standards for critical spare parts and safety stock.
• act as the professional contact for spare parts management and provide professional suggestions for decision-making.
Documentation & Process Improvement
• establish and optimize spare parts management workflows and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• promote data-based management and continuous improvement to reduce equipment downtime and material shortage risks.
We believe you have
• Proficient in warehouse and procurement management with SAP system, with over 3 years of practical working experience.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office; intermediate level of Excel and PowerPoint for data sorting, analysis and presentation making.
• Practical working experience in international import and export business.
• Solid hands-on experience in procurement.
• Familiar with spare parts for mechanical and automated equipment is preferred.
• Good English reading, writing and communication skills for communication with overseas suppliers (TOEIC score: 550 and above).
• Prior working experience in WCM, TPM or lean production is preferred.
