Warehouse Lead
We are looking for a Warehouse Lead who will be an individual contributor position responsible for warehousing activities within a factory and drive continuous improvement ( safety, quality, 5S, costs ) ,service levels with providers and effective utilization of warehouse. Implement Cluster priorities and initiatives in the factory warehousing areas.
This is a local position, based at our manufacturing Site in Jurong Singapore.
What you will do
As a Warehouse Lead, you will:
Drive factory daily warehousing activities:
- Ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer: resolve issues that might arise with deliveries (in/out) at warehouse/ transportation: administer and manage documentation for all goods in/out of factory (e.g., invoices, customs documentation)
- Ensure inventory accuracy through periodic stock counting
- Implement and lead a good warehouse management in the factory (include outsourced)
- Ensure correct and timely reporting of KPIs for all metrics concerning warehouse
- Actively manage and lead the warehouse team related to performance management, individual development, succession planning etc
Operational/Strategical warehouse optimization :
- Drive the expansion of WCM to attack Warehousing losses (both in costs and service level) impacting the factory, involving other stakeholders as needed (e.g., production, quality, service providers, logistics etc )
- Lead factory warehousing internal and outsourced resources to maximize utilization and efficient usage of working capital
- Work with Planning to ensure proper inventory management (e.g., inventory reduction, lean flow )
- Secure warehousing quality of service towards stakeholders e.g Production/Customers including claims and complaints management / root cause analysis / eradication.
We believe you have
- At least 5 years operational experience in the area of expertise
- People management experience with strong ability to lead / influence
- Capability to work in fast paced and dynamic environment
- Project Management skills and experience.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP / Ariba
- Good communication skills in English & Mandarin
- Well versed in MS Office, knowledge of PowerBI will be a plus
