Job Summary

We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage domestic shipments (mainly) and import–export operations. In this role, you will support logistics KPIs and help drive operational excellence.
This position is based at our Sikeston, MO factory and reports to the Planning & Logistics Manager.
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require international relocation to the United States.

What you will do

As a Shipping Coordinator, you will: 

 

  • Prepare and issue all shipping documents, including delivery notes, CF invoices, stock transfer orders, customer return paperwork, export customs documents, CoCs, fiscal invoices, and credit notes.
  • Coordinate and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the shipping area using WCM methodology (TPM principles).
  • Manage SAP and OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) systems for daily operations.
  • Communicate with the Supply Chain Control Tower (SCCT) for domestic and export activities, as well as with external carriers to gather and share required shipment information.
  • Coordinate daily operations with the Production Planner and Customer Service Representatives to ensure timely shipments.
  • Coordinate daily transfers with outside warehouses.
  • Lead and support the Shipping team in meeting daily operational goals, KPIs, and advancement of Autonomous Maintenance methodology.

We believe you have

  • A bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree 
  • At least 2 years of experience in shipping, warehousing, or related logistics operations
  • Experience working with an ERP; SAP R/3 experience strongly preferred 
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills 
  • A proactive, results oriented mindset and a strong commitment to teamwork
