Maintenance Group Leader

The preferred educational background is a high school diploma or equivalent.  Previous experience with a manufacturing facility is highly beneficial.

Job Summary

Works on equipment maintenance including breakdown maintenance Maintain the machines as per AM/ PM logsEnsure proper equipment work during the shift and correct anomalies in case of breakdown.Perform preventive and corrective activities at equipent according to maintenance plans under the supervision of Maintenance Engineer.

What you will do

  1. Distributes task and follows up on assignments to ensure actions are taken.  
  2. Communicates assignment status to managers.
  3. Supports Maintenance Inventory Coordinator’s workload by helping to order supplies.
  1. Develop preventative maintenance actions and activities as assigned, including driving and creating documentation for maintenance tasks specific to equipment (working instructions).
  1. Actively participates in process improvements through WCM, such as performing root cause analysis for breakdowns and failures and participates in teams/projects. This position will support the PM Pillar by presenting during WCM Audits.
  1. Perform troubleshooting independently on equipment and determine failure reasons thru structured problem-solving methodology with the maintenance team.
  1. Teach Preventative Maintenance (PM) methodology within the production area.
  1. Teach/Train other maintenance personnel in proper techniques of troubleshooting electrical and PLC issues.
  1. Improve the use of E-maint with the maintenance department.

We believe you have

Fresh Technical formation or Diploma in Engineering/ Maintenance or 2-3 years’ experience in Maintenance/Spare Parts. SAP basic knowledge WCM skills for breakdown/ Anomaly analysis  Expereince and skills in identifying Root Cause and develop countermeasures to address Machine technical knowledge Production processe knowledge is preferred

Minimum Education

High School Technical formation/Diploma or equivalentRequires knowledge specific knowledge/ or on the job training or broader knowledge of theory on maintenance

Key Outputs and Measurements

- Participate in regular Preventive Maintenance - Minimised losses (short stops/ breakdowns) on machine/ equipment, keep Mean Down Time Targets - Guide colleagues with AM/ PM and removing red tags - Reports all activities in SAP, Plant Maintenance Module and sloves all reported problem as per plan - Maintains the Maintenance Spare parts store - Achieve Preventive activities TBM (Time Based Maintenance) compliance ratio and targets - 5S according to standard in all maintenance areas
