Job Summary

As a Technical Communicator you will be responsible of create/update & release manuals related to equipment according to the Tetra Pak standard.

What you will do

  • In collaboration with the development teams collect input from the subject matter experts, e.g. designers, development engineers, test engineers etc.

  • Based on the collected input, create, update and release user manuals according to Tetra Pak corporate standards, processes and legal demands to follow the lifecycle of the product.

  • Manage the necessary translation of the user manuals in accordance with Tetra Pak corporate standards and processes.

We believe you have

  • You hold a university degree in Engineering, Technical Communication/Journalism, or similar

  • You are fluent in English both spoken and written.

  • Knowledge of Italian and/or Swedish will be considered a plus

  • Proven experience (2-4 years) as a technical communicator, writing user manuals for advanced equipment

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of technical equipment’s and concepts

  • Experience with desktop publishing, multimedia production, and online documentation software. PTC Arbortext Editor, PTC Creo Parametric, PTC Windchill is advantageous.

  • Ability to create technical illustrations as a complement to the written word. 

  • Experience with web coding and authoring systems, such as HTML or XML.

  • Excellent computer and word processing skills.

  • Strong writing (simplified technical English), editing, proofreading, 

  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and handle pressure.

  • Strong attention to details.

You have good drive skills and can take initiatives managing tasks and activities independently, taking decision within the defined area of responsibility. Beside this you have good analytical skills, you are clear in communication and can manage complexity and ambiguity.
