Job Summary

Responsible for a small category of the purchasing category as part of the global category portfolio or at cluster with medium/small spend under them and no team. Responsible for the purchasing category strategy and execution. Execute sourcing and contracting based on global and cluster category strategies. Execute implementation of category strategy and supplier base plan.

What you will do

  • You will work in close collaboration with our business stakeholders, our different supplier management functions and our suppliers. 

  • You will be appointed Supply Manager being responsible for the execution of the global category strategy of Drawn Parts covering all Tetra Pak businesses, Packaging, Processing and Services. 

  • You will have the global responsibility for the assigned categories keeping track of the achievements vs. budget and securing prioritization of the agreed initiatives with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • You will be global responsible for a set of suppliers managing performance, negotiation and adoption of commercial agreements. 

  • You will play a key role in driving the sustainability agenda of the assigned categories as well as equipment and parts suppliers.

  • You will secure the achievement of KPIs related to quality, cost and delivery of the supply base. 

  • Your role is global with frequent interactions with stakeholders, colleagues and vendors around the world. 

  • You will travel around 10% of your time, mainly nationally but also internationally.

  •  

  • The position demands a good level of commercial, relational and negotiation skills. 

  • As a person you are results oriented, self-driven and have strong communication skills. 

  • To build and maintain successful relations with stakeholders and suppliers comes natural to you. 

  • You can get others to see and believe your points, and you are analytical, methodical and efficient. 

  • You can maintain drive and focus during peaks. You need to have at least 6-8 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management in an international global context. 

  • You hold a University degree within Engineering or Economics and have a good command in English, both written and verbal.

  • Experience stainless steel, machining, pipes and welding is valuable for this position.
