Job Summary
Support TaxOps and the Greater China (GC) based Centers of Excellence (COE’s) with tax compliance obligations of Tetra Pak entities, with specific emphasis on compliance of Tetra Pak Mainland China entities
What you will do
- Strongly support overall tax compliance work of Greater China entities, including periodic tax filing, nontrade filing, export VAT refund, CIT annual filing, RPT form filing, etc.
- Support Greater China tax accounting processes (VAT, CIT, and other taxes related GL accounts), including internal reporting monthly tax cashflow forecast, legal entity profitability review.
- Support government report, statistics report, survey needs.
- Ensure that tax info sheets and internal procedure documents are correctly filed and continually kept up to date.
- Act as contact window with tax authorities in Greater China. Ensure all tax queries are well managed and responded within requested timeline.
- Stay updated with tax regulations and conduct training sessions when needed.
- Identify areas for process automation and implementing those into company operation.
- Business partnership, respond appropriately to the various queries of internal stakeholders.
- Assist Tax Manager with day-to-day tasks including administrative support, and other ad hod tasks assigned by Tax Manager.
We believe you have
- Minimum 5 years of relevant tax compliance/advisory experience. “Big 4” experience is preferred.
- Holder of a recognized professional tax qualification or has passed key tests of the qualifications, i.e. CPA, CTA/TA, ACCA.
- Fluency in English is essential (writing and speaking).
- Strong ERP knowledge is essential with SAP knowledge an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Advanced Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Automate.
- Candidates who have experience of developing Macros, RPAs and working knowledge of Power BI and/or KNIME would be preferred.
