Job Summary

To perform and support activities related to Regional Distribution Center logistics territories, including inbound transportation tracking and feedback, guiding warehouse inbound operation, coordinating with the customs affairs team as well as managing pertinent cost and system operation. This position has a relatively high focus in the DC inbound and related areas, continuously driving accountable business towards operational excellence.

What you will do

  • Closely monitor inbound shipments’ lead time and proactively alert, contact and solve the issues that may extend the arrival days compared to the ETA.

  • Maintain strong cooperation with central colleagues to drive improvements on observed issues or business opportunities.

  • Support and guide the 3PL DC inbound team to complete daily routine on time in full and with desired optimization in specific areas. 

  • Resolve daily importation and exportation questions which raised by customs affairs team or broker.

  • Complete ERP(SAP) system registration for incorrectly received items in the inbound process and impose stringent closed loop management.

  • Support on monitoring WMS EDI working status and clearing IDOC errors.

  • Drive lean production concept change management against our process and operation.

  • Perform cost monitoring and robust analysis to present differences.

  • Support cross functional teams, such as warehouse outbound or inventory management team, transportation management in specific areas, as well as overseas pertinent customs handling.

  • Approach and manage suppliers within the scope

  • Monitor suppliers KPI performance

  • Drive QMS improvement in DC team

We believe you have

  • Requires knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline and some specific technical/operational practices built through limited job experience. 

  • Bachelor degree or above

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Be good at using graphic tools, like VISIO, Power BI or Macro, Phython, 

  • Equal to CET+6 or above

  • Good spoken and written English

  • Experience with using SAP is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of HS code commodity classification
