Job Summary

Our Future Talent Programme (Leadership Track) is a 1.5-year program that will develop your leadership skills and broad business knowledge in a truly international environment. Every year, new graduates around the globe start their careers at Tetra Pak and have the chance to make a difference and influence our company’s development. You will work in various parts of Tetra Pak, gain valuable & exciting experience from a network of colleagues worldwide, and be given the opportunity to develop into the company’s “tomorrow” leadership. 

Tetra Pak Supplier Management is the procurement function responsible for sourcing, contracting, and managing the supplier base for Tetra Pak. The team is fully accountable for cost, with an underlying objective to provide world-class quality & performance at the lowest cost and with a focus on supply chain agility, sustainability, and resilience.
As Junior Supplier Manager, you will manage base/preferred suppliers in line with Tetra Pak procurement strategy, process, and KPIs. You will take charge of activities such as Request For Quotation (RFQ), negotiation, contract management, and analysis & benchmarking of spend/suppliers/competition, etc. 

This is a permanent position based in Shanghai or Kunshan (China).
 

What you will do

  • Drive sourcing and contracting based on business needs in line with Tetra Pak procurement/supplier management strategies

  • Drive compliance to category strategy, supplier base plan, supplier management processes, contracts, and best practices

  • Participate in target follow-up and corrective action

  • Ensure correct usage of relevant tools

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships/engagement. Communicate results and act as a proactive Business Partner

  • Work according to good/best practices and facilitate networking on-site

We believe you have

  • Undergraduate degree or master’s degree or less than 2+ years of work experience after completing your undergraduate degree

  • Evidence of passion, strong leadership, and outstanding achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities; eager to break new ground

  • Exceptional problem-solving ability, logical reasoning, creative thinking

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English (CET-6 required) and Chinese

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
