Job Summary

PSE Automation & Solutions is responsible to design and deliver Automation and Digital projects, integrated solutions for all 3 business Processing, Packaging and Services.

We are currently looking for a new Automation & Digital Sales Enablement to join the PSE Automation & Digital solution team. The purpose and responsibility of the role as Sales Enablement is to sell automation products and services with a specific focus on Automation and Digital portfolio Tetra Pak Plant Master covering processing plant and packaging lines. The role provides expertise and sales support to account managers through the entire sales process (understand customer needs, create solution, convey the value).

The location of the position will be in China and you will belong to the team of PSE Automation & Solutions with colleagues from all over Greater China. The position requires travelling approximately 40% of the time.

What you will do

  • Responsible for Automation Sales Strategy within Greater China – drive and develop a successful proactive strategy, differentiating the local markets
  • Drive Automation & Digital business development activites - Contact prospects, develop understanding of customer needs, drive opportunities, increase awanerness and knowledge sharing in sales community
  • Nurse and develop our Key Account customers within Greater China from an automation and digital solutions perspective
  • Be part of Key Account teams and support Account Managers and participate in sales meetings with customers presentations demonstrating the value Tetra Pak PlantMaster
  • Be part of a network with other A&D sales support resources and connected to global teams
  • Support Project Centres during pre-projects for advanced MES solutions based on Tetra Pak PlantMaster portfolio
  • Drive sales projects with standalone automation solutions and cooperate with Services Sales Managers to drive Automation upgrades
  • Develop supplier relations for our Automation platforms – primarily Siemens, Rockwell and Aveva

We believe you have

  • We are looking for a high self-motivating candidate with good understanding of customer satisfaction and an awareness of Health & Safety. We seek a team-player that have very good communication skills and the ability to work and meet deadlines under pressure. You are interested in developing your skills and taking continual trainings and feel comfortable working within a virtual team. An understanding of continuous & discrete manufacturing, processes within the food industry is a strong plus, as well as experience of the Automation Control systems - Production Control / Production Integrator, System Integration Kit’s for PLC, HMI & Database. Knowledge of industrial IT & HW, and Networks.
  • Bachelor or Master degree qualification or knowledge and experience of automation solutions, electrical or electronic engineering and process control.
  • At least 7-10 years of Sales experience in the industrial automation sector.
  • Proven understanding of automation platforms and IT/OT systems design.
  • Experience as Automation engineer with direct field experience in the implementation of automation and digital solutions (PLC & HMI / MES / MOM / ERP Integration/ IIoT) is considered as a strong plus.
  • Experience in Portfolio Management, Business Development, Consulting Services and new digital business models is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell and Aveva automation and digital products
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken is a must. 
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English is a must. Other languages is a plus
  • Full driving licence.
