Job Summary
What you will do
- Proactively drive financial & operational excellence: Conduct financial/tax analysis, develop & implement automation tools (e.g., PBI, KNIME) to boost efficiency and strategic insight for Greater China (HK & TW included).
- Lead Tax Authority Engagements & Risk mitigation: Own and lead during tax audits for Greater China entities (HK & TW included), strategically engage with external advisors to manage complex issues and mitigate audit risk.
- Initiate & Drive Value-Capture Initiatives: Proactively identify and pursue all potential opportunities to secure financial benefits for Greater China entities.
- Provide Strategic Business Partnership: Offer expert tax advice on new initiatives, propose optimal tax-efficient solutions for business units in Greater China (HK & TW included).
- Guide strategic decisions with tax analysis: Analyze and communicate tax impacts of business plans, enabling informed leadership decisions in Greater China (HK & TW included)
- Shape Tax Strategy: Contribute to developing and implementing tax strategies that maximize value and maintain a robust risk framework for Greater China (HK & TW included).
- Lead Strategic Projects: Lead and execute special projects and initiatives for Greater China entities (HK & TW included), aligning outcomes with departmental and company goals.
We believe you have
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant tax advisory experience, preferably in MNCs or “Big 4”
- Holder of a recognized professional tax qualification or has passed key tests of the qualifications, i.e. CPA, CTA/TA, ACCA.
- Fluency in English is essential (writing and speaking).
- Strong SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Candidates who have experience of developing Macros, RPAs and working knowledge of Power BI and/or KNIME would be preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
