Job Summary

Within Tetra Pak Additional Material Department, we are looking for a Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Manager who supports the management team in achieving overall process and factory KPI's. As a (SHE) Manager you will report to the Factory Director and be a member of the Factory Management Team. 

This is a permanent position based in Sezzadio, (AL), Italy.

What you will do

As a Safety, Health and Environment Manager you will be involved in the following areas:

  • Maintaining systems of the factory conformance with the Group OHS procedures and local legislation.
  • Maintaining a record of accidents and incidents and monitor completion of follow up actions by system. Collaborate along with different departments supporting the investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Leading the governance on hazard identification and risk analysis.
  • Developing and leading OHS training programs to cover the significant risks and OSHA requirements.
  • Keeping procedures current to defined process standards and legal requirements. Promote daily site inspections addressing safety and environment issues.
  • Driving ISO 14001 and 45001, leading Internal Audits, Management Review, procedures etc. related to these standards
  • Leading daily safety inspections (gemba). Performing periodic audits.
  • Assisting in ensuring required safety, environmental, and other certifications and documentation are completed and are update.
  • Leading Safety, Health and Environment Pillar and lead all items related with emergency response team. Promote and provide trainings, emergency drills etc.
  • Promoting timely communications, positive safety culture, and the involvement of all employees.
  • Driving the culture change program through the Safety Dialogue process and SAM program.

We believe you have

  • a university degree within engineering or equivalent
  • at least 5 years of previous experience from working with Safety, Health & Environment in a manufacturing environment
  • certificate in R.S.P.P is beneficial
  • experience of Continuous Improvement work is beneficial
  • fluency in both English and Italian, both written and spoken
  • good skills in Office Online Pack (Share point, Teams, Power BI etc.)
