Job Summary
We are looking for an intern to support the Health, Safety and Environmental team in Tetra Pak, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology, with a focus on Safety and Health and Environment. You will deal with organization and presentation to internal and external auditors. You will cooperate with several stakeholders, including Production, Quality and Maintenance, building your knowledge on how the cap is produced. This is a six-month curricular internship position based in Tetra Pak Closure Italy in Sezzadio (AL), Italy.
What you will do
- Support daily HSE activities, including incident and recurrence management
- Participating in WCM pillars and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and environmental performance
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing HSE KPIs (safety, compliance, environmental indicators)
- Contribute to loss analysis (incidents, near misses, environmental impacts) and support corrective/preventive actions
- Support development of HSE data collection, reporting, and analysis tools
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve workplace safety, reduce environmental impact, and minimize waste
- Provide administrative support to HSE
We believe you have
- Degree (or currently pursuing) in in “Tecniche della prevenzione nell'ambiente e nei luoghi di lavoro” or “Environmental Engineering” or similar
- Strong interest in Health, Safety & Environment topics
- Good analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of HSE regulations
- Knowledge of ISO 45000 and ISO 14000 Management Systems or WCM principles is a plus
