Job Summary
Our Services Organization is growing at a high pace, that’s why we are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Service Engineers to join our team in Ireland.
As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical products and support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services.
You will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company’s reputation for commitment and service worldwide. That’s why we consider this role to be of great importance.
In this position, you will be home-based while travelling extensively within England/UK and occasional overseas travel will be required.
What you will do
- Travel to customer sites
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations
- Analyse technical issues and escalate when needed using standard operating processes
- Train customer operators (if required)
- Support production plant efficiency
- Monitor service contracts and contribute to business development and growth
- Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and reporting standards
- Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols in accordance with OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team
- Write a site visit report on completion of the work
We believe you have
- Up to 3 years of experience in maintenance, service, or installation roles
- Education in industrial systems, automation, or process engineering
- Good computer literacy
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical and/or automation knowledge
- Ability to travel as required and this can be at short notice
- Strong level of English (written and verbal)
- A proactive, customer-first mindset
