Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Processing Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technical solutions in alignment with customer requirements and set standards, calculating project budgets, and preparing the required documentation. You will also contribute to the overall installation business results and customer satisfaction.

What you will do

 

As our Processing Project Engineer, you will:
 

  • Gather engineering data from the project kick-off tollgate to ensure a strong start.
  • Monitor updates to P&IDs and 3D layouts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigate and develop opportunities for local sourcing to optimize project resources.
  • Generate new articles in SAP to streamline project documentation and tracking.
  • Write detailed technical specifications, requests for quotation, and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Organize and lead comprehensive quality reviews to maintain high standards.
  • Lead risk assessment activities to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Review budget costs versus actual expenses for relevant equipment and activities to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Track the delivery of equipment from suppliers to platforms and from platforms to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Prepare detailed site installation documents to facilitate smooth and efficient installations.

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields with a focus on process design and project implementation.
  • Experience in commissioning, maintenance, or new plant start-ups is a plus.
  • Knowledge in dairy, carbonated beverage, and powder handling process design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Tetra Pak or experience in food and beverage factories, especially ice cream factories, would be helpful.
  • Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills, with the ability to solve problems consistently.
  • Ability to draw, read, and understand a process and instrumentation diagram (PID).
  • Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD and drawing platforms is a must.
