Job Summary

Support the Factory Director on the site/company/factory to ensure compliance with the group OHS policy and associated procedures and to drive continuous improvement towards the Tetra Pak goal of zero accidents and work-related ill health. Ensure delivery of the Corporate OHS strategy on their sites/factories. The role will be able to lead a site OHS team and drive change in the majority of OHS subjects without external support.
This job in factories also leads activities related to environment to ensure the internal and external compliance with environmental related policies and regulations, provides leadership in all the areas of safety, health and environment.

What you will do

  • Champion OHS and Environment within their business.
  • Provide OHS and Environment advice and guidance to Factory Director.
  • Establish and maintain systems to support the Group OHS /Environment policy/procedures and local legislation.
  • Maintain a record of OHS /Environment incidents and monitor completion of follow up actions.
  • Monitor compliance with agreed site OHS/Environment policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that an OHS/Environment training plan is in place to cover the significant risks on the site.
  • Ensure timely delivery of correct data to agreed internal and external social and environmental reporting platforms.
  • Ensure third party audits are planned and executed according to group requirements in the areas of Safety, Health and Environment and legal compliance, (i.e. ISO 45001, 14001)
  • Prohibit any activity from continuing that is considered a danger or a significant breach of OHS /Environment legislation.

We believe you have

  • Senior OHS officer Ideally 6-8 years' experience of a similar OHS role or a role at a large factory/organization.
  • Knowledge of relevant local regulations on safety, work related health subject.
  • Industrial experience and machine related safety.
  • Able to lead a site OHS team and drive change in alle OHS subjects without external support.
  • Knowledge of production process and WCM safety rules will be preferred experience.
  • Certified Level A of Occupational Safety and Health Affair Managers/ Occupational Safety and Health Management Specialist is preferable.
  • Experience in implementing regulatory standards in the manufacturing area is preferable.
  • Strong WCM/TPM knowledge related to EHS Pillar.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving.
  • Strong Leadership skills, to manage cross-functional projects and teams.
