WCM Engineer



We are looking for talented and highly motivated new graduates to join our Future Talent Programme starting in September 2021 and become the next generation of engineers and leaders in our industry.



Future Talent Programme – leadership track is a two-year trainee programme to develop your leadership skills and give you broad business knowledge in an international environment. What you will do

In this position as WCM Production Engineer you will be part of the World Class Manufacturing office that leads innovation and continuous improvement in Rubiera Converting Factory. You will support production processes in identifying losses and countermeasures with the aim of eradication. Besides, you will learn about World Class Manufacturing in an advanced factory, taking part to Kaizen Teams with main focus on LEAN concept. You will deal with organization and presentations to internal and external auditors. You will cooperate with several stakeholders, including Quality, Customer Service, Production Cells, Maintenance, building your knowledge on how the packaging material is produced. In the role you will:

  • Support and participate in WCM improvement teams or Pillars
  • General administrative support to WCM activities
  • Support factory loss intelligence; Carry out loss analysis and suggest improvements
  • Support KPIs of production processes: planning ,control and tracking
  • Support and collaborate with Production Process Cells in daily management system; Recurrence Management
  • Work with benchmarks to standardize the processes and boost best practices execution
  • Develop data acquisition systems and data analysis
  • Improve the efficiency of the production processes and reduce material waste

Who you are

We believe you have:

  • You have finished recently or are about to finish your Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or similar (Graduation year 2020/2021)
  • Native Italian speaker, excellent spoken and written English, a second language is a plus
  • MS Office level advanced
  • Basic competences of Project Management
  • Basic knowledge of lean principles
  • Fair communication skills
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • You have a structured and analytical approach 
  • Good competences in data modelling, data analysis and data visualization
