Job Summary

Project Centre Iberia and South Europe is now looking for a Team Leader Project Management & Implementation for area South Europe, specifically for Packaging Business. In this role you will be managing a team of 7 peoples approx, among project managers, associates and installation site supervisors, working with L0, L1, L2 and L3 projects. The Project Management & Implementation Office is responsible for securing that Customer projects are delivered on time, at budgeted costs, in quality and with outstanding customer satisfaction.


This is a permanent role based in Rubiera, Italy.

What you will do

As Team Leader Project Management & Implementation, you will lead a team of project managers and site supervisors to achieve high project performance and customer satisfaction in Italy packaging business, by:

 

- Lead project execution through the team of project managers:

  • Secure project cost, time and quality control
  • Lead the technical project reviews for all packaging projects in Italy
  • Secure the timely assignments of packaging implementation projects to the adequate Project Manager (balancing capability, skills and workload)
  • Drive some project execution as Project Manager, being exemplar for the team on daily job, and insuring a constant updating on tools utilisation.

 

- Lead planning and scheduling of the project resources

  • Plan and schedule resources according to project forecasts, both internal and external workforce
  • Cooperate with PSC and Service for Project Centre demand planning
  • Drive resource escalations

 

- Lead in reporting and follow up of the project KPI`s

  • Report and follow up of project KPI`s in dedicated systems
  • Lead dashboard updates and communications
  • Analyse KPI results and suggest actions to improve

 

- Promote the proper and pragmatic use of Global processes, tools, applications, guidelines, and templates

  • Drive use of Global processes, tools, applications, guidelines and templates to secure standardisation, predictability in delivery and consistent quality
  • Secure the use of mandatory project documentation, updated and stored in dedicated shared location

 

- Lead the growth of competences and capabilities of the assigned team:

  • Mentoring, training, assessment, on-boarding, etc…
  • Promote training to fill identified gaps in competence and capability
  • Support the career development

 

- Participate NPI readiness activities in the area of responsibility and in Continuous Improvement activities

You have a strong ability to drive and implement change.

Your educational background is a university degree. It is required that you have 5 years’ experience of leading business and/or project management in packaging customer projects. We believe you have experience of governance tools. It is required that you have proven work experience in leading teams also remotely. You are fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
