Our team in Tetra Pak Carta based in Rubiera (RE) is currently searching for a
 Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager
The SHE Manager is responsible for establishing the Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental management system in the Factory to ensure compliance with Group OHS and Environment Policy and local legal requirement and to create an increased OHS and Environmental culture within the factory.
This role will report to the Factory Director.
 In this role, you will:
• Support the senior management of the company to ensure compliance to the Group OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) and Environment policy and associated procedures;
• Drive continuous improvement towards the Tetra Pak goal of zero accidents and work-related illnesses and ensure delivery of the Corporate OHS strategy on the factory;
• Lead a site OHS & Environment team and drive change in the majority of OHS subjects without external support;
• Lead the activities related to Environment to ensure the internal and external compliance to environmental related policies and regulations;
• Drive OHS and Environment key performance indicators in the factory
• Ensure all significant risks and Environment aspects are appropriately identified and managed to acceptable levels
• Lead the Safety & Health pillar to drive zero accident goal in the factory.
• Provide leadership in all the areas of safety, health and environment.
o analyse and support Occupational Health and Safety for the whole factory and production area;
o provide SHE advice and guidance to managers and employees to ensure compliance with Group OHS and Environment policies;
o establish and maintain systems to support the site according to the Group OHS and Environment procedures and local legislation;
o maintain a record of accidents and incidents and monitor completion of follow up actions;
o Conduct accident / incident investigation and ensure all incidents are reported and investigated promptly, causal factors and root causes are determined with implementation of corrective and preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence. Implement, maintain and improve safety proactive and preventive tools.
o ensure that a SHE training program is in place to cover the significant risks on the site; 
o perform risk assessment by conducting safety audits and on-site inspections;
o investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports to identify workplace & working conditions;
o ensure that first aid supplies and resources are available in accordance with regulations and the organization’s health and safety policies;
o cover the position of RSPP (Responsabile Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione) for the Factory;
o be responsible for Safety and Environmental Management System according to OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
o collaborate with FREM (Facility and Real Estate Management) organisation.


• Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering, or similar
• At least 5 years of experience as a manager in a structured industrial company and in a multinational environment
• Qualification as RSPP according to the Italian legislations (Moduli A-B-C, FORMAZIONE RSPP, SETTORE INDUSTRIA)
• NEBOSH certification is preferable
• Good Italian and English communication skills
• Willingness to travel
We believe you have the ability both to lead key elements of the site SHE management system, and to drive the change in most of SHE subjects with management support. We expect you to be an analytic, systematic, persistent and result driven person. The knowledge of production process and WCM safety rules will be considered a preferred experience.
