Job Summary

Tetra Pak is looking for an SHE Engineer who will support the site OHS officer to develop and maintain the site OHS management system, driving continuous improvement towards the Tetra Pak goal of zero accidents and work related ill health.

The role will be able to lead elements of the site OHS management system (e.g. risk assessments) and drive change in the majority of OHS subjects with management support.

This is permanent position based in Rayong, Thai Lan.

What you will do

As SHE Engineer, you will:

OHS & E system 

  • Assist to drive Safety, Heath and Environment key performance indicators in the factory. 
  • Execute and implement the Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies, Procudures, and Guidelines (OHS&E PPGs)
  • Supporting to maintain the system of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Ensure Environment, Health and Safety hazards and aspects are appropriately identified and managed to acceptable levels of risk. 
  • Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessment to support Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental management. 
  • Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Ensure that Safety Health and Environment training program is in place to cover the local legal requirements and significant risks on the site.
  • Monitor compliance with local legal requirements, Corporate OHS and Environment policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Proficiency in Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving.
  • Maintain relevant SHE documentation. 
  • Prepare applicable SHE reports as necessary. 
  • Promote incident Prevention for the benefit of employees, contractors, and visitors. 
  • Actively to drive Safety culture and Environmental awareness.

WCM – SHE Pillar

  • Lead the SHE pillar to drive zero accident goal in the factory 
  • Supporting SHE improvement project in the factory. 
  • Actively promote WCM mindset within factory employees towards 0 losses mindset

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety
  • An expert with 5 - 8 years of experience in OHS roles in manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in implement or maintain the ISO 14001, ISO 45001
  • Able to lead key elements of the site OHS&E management system
  • Understanding in the relevant Environment Functional Area
  • Knowledge of WCM/TPM, PSM, RSO certificate will be preferred
  • Good command of English and computer program literacy
  • Effective presentation, training, and facilitation skills
