Job Summary
We are looking for Quality Engineer who will act as the key interface between quality team and production process to support improvement in quality management systems, waste & lost management as well as support in the resolution of quality deviation and drive closure on corrective and preventive actions. In this role you will set-up continuous improvement initiatives/ programs and lead in sharing and cascading function for best practices / lessons learnt to all. You have the authority and the responsibility to decide to stop the line, put in quarantine or ask additional resources or means to mitigate a quality risk.
This is an individual contributor role based in Rayong, Thailand, and reporting to the WCM & Quality Manager.
What you will do
As our Quality Engineer, you will
- Monitor compliance to Tetra Pak quality related standards and specification
- Monitor adherence to schedule, completion, and results from quality checks in production
- Monitor performances and trends from Lab measurements
- Identify priorities from Quality results analysis, on defect wastes and Tis with relevant Pillars
- Follow-up-up decision for products in Quarantine
- Monitor decision on INC
- Secure raw material conformity
- Analyze internal INC and external TI
- Participate to internal and external audits
- Implement and transfer to production when relevant, Tetra Pak new quality standards, processes, or quality related investments
- Prepare quality related training material to operators and controllers, lab technicians
- Drive/Participate to internal/external trials
- Ensure proper and good reporting in proper tools and channels or DMS, and to manager
- Follow-up Quality triggers in DMS
- Could use quality tools if needed
- Actively promote WCM mindset within factory employees towards 0 losses mindset
- Participate to 5W&1H,4M, 5Whys and ABC analysis
- Be the QM pillar member
We believe you have
- Graduate Engineering Degree with at least 3 years QA or related work experience in either Production/ Maintenance/ WCM
- Familiar with ISO9001/ ISO14001/ BRC/ ISO22000/ OHSAS18001 system; SPC, TQM, TPM or WCM related experience is needed
- Hands on experience to work with Production and Process teams to drive continuous initiatives are preferred.
- Exceptional courage to quality commitment with high personal drive to performance.
- Demonstrate leadership to lead and motivate teams that do not directly report to you.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to listen and influence others.
